Patriots Defeat the Rams in Super Bowl LIII

New England defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII on Sunday in Atlanta. Patriotsreceiver Julian Edelman was named Super Bowl LIII Most Valuable Player after catching 10 passes for 141 yards.

Patriots running back Sony Michel ran 18 times for 94 yards and scored the game’s only touchdown in the winning effort. Tom Brady completed 21 of 35 passes for 262 yards and one interception.

“You know it was an unbelievable year,” Brady told CBS’ Tracy Wolfson after the game. “We just fought through it more so than anything. It’s just unbelievable to win this game.

“It’s been a great year, I’m so happy for my teammates, this is a dream come true for all of us.”
